Ellsworth Volleyball Loses to Gardiner 3-1

The Ellsworth Varsity Volleyball Team lost to Gardiner 3-1 on Saturday, September 5th at home at Katsiaficas Gymnasium. The individual set scores were 25-16, 25-27, 22-25, 10-25.

Ellsworth individual stat leaders included:

• Caitlin Jenkins 2 aces, 10 kills, 10 digs
• Austyn Atherton 4 kills, 1 assist, 8 digs

• Chelsea Knight 7 kills, 3 blocks, 1 assist, 6 digs
• Lexi Blaisdell 1 ace, 1 kill, 1 block 8 assists, 11 digs

Ellsworth is now 1-1. They will play at Hampden Academy on Thursday, September 10th at 6 p.m.

Gardiner is 1-1. They will host Cony on Thursday, September 10th at 5:30 p.m.
