MDI’s Collin Named Big East Boys Player of the Week for 2nd Time

Congratulations to MDI High School's Derek Collin who was named Big East Boy's Player of the Week, for Week 7, the 2nd time this season, by the Big East Coaches.

The Trojans went 2-1 during the week, beating Presque Isle 53-40 on January 26th, losing to Caribou on January 25th 67-55 and bearing Old Town 68-57 on January 23rd. During the week, Collin had 74 points, 23 rebounds, and 7 assists.

MDI is 10-4 on the season with 4 games remaining. They play at home against Hermon on Thursday, January 31st, on the road in Orono on Friday, February 1st, at home against Foxcroft Academy on Tuesday, February 5th, Senior Recognition Night, and then finish up the regular season against Ellsworth, in Ellsworth on Thursday, February 7th.
