MDI Boys to Play Belfast in Quarters

The MDI Boy's Basketball Team found out they would be playing Belfast in the Quarterfinals on Friday night, February 17th in the opening session of Tourney 2017.

The number 2 seeded MDI Trojans will play the 7 seed Belfast Lions Friday night at 6:30. Belfast beat Houlton the number 10 seed on Wednesday afternoon 65-51 in a prelim game at Belfast. Belfast, playing in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference (KVAC) is now 10-9 on the season. Houlton's season ends with a record of 11-8.

The Ellsworth Eagle's prelim game against Presque Isle, in Presque Isle, was postponed to Thursday, February 16th because of the snow.
