MDI Boys 73 Central 40 [Box Score]

The MDI Boy's Team jumped out to an early double digit lead and never looked back on Tuesday, February 2nd, as they defeated Central 73-40 in East Corinth. The Trojans drained 10 3-pointers in the game

MDI led 23-6 at the end of the 1st Quarter. Riley Swanson had 8 points with 2 3-pointers and Andrew Phelps at 7 points with a 3-pointer. Drew Rich had 4 points and Gus Reeves and Graham Good each had 2 points for the Trojans. For Central Caleb Shaw, Dylan Gray and Trevor Macomber each had 2 points.

In the 2nd Quarter, MDI increased their lead to 44-21 at the Half. Swanson had 2 3-pointers for 6 points, Good had 5 points, Russell Kropff had 5 points with a 3-pointer, Aaron Snurkowski had a 3-pointer and Phelps had 2 points for MDI. In the 2nd Quarter Shaw had 8 points for Central while Grant Poulin had 5 points including a 3-pointer and Trevor Macomber had 2 points.

In the 3rd Quarter MDI outscored Central 14-9 to lead 58-30 at the end of the 3rd Quarter. Snurkowski had 7 points including a 3-pointer, Colby Lee had a 3-pointer and Devin Parlatore had 2 points for MDI. Dylan Gray had 4 points for Central, Andrew Prescott had a 3-pointer and Macomber had 2 points.

In the 4th Quarter, Gus Reeves had 5 points including a 3-pointer for MDI, while Good, Lee, Snurkowski and Parlatore each had 2 points. For Central, Trevor Macomber had 5 points, Grant Poulin had another 3-pointer and Caleb Shaw had 2 points.

MDI was led by Riley Swanson with 14 points while Aaron Snurkowski had 12 points and Graham Good had 11 points. The Trojans were 5-7 from the free throw line.
