MDI Girls GSA Boys Win Ellsworth Cross Country Invitational September 3rd

The MDI Girls Cross Country Team and the George Stevens Academy Boys Cross Country Team won the Ellsworth Invitational on a misting, muddy course at Ellsworth High School on September 3rd.

Kulani Granholm from MDI won the Varsity Girl's Race with a time of 19:32.16 with teammate Antonia Burns coming in 2nd with a time of 19:34.78. Ellie Arsenault from Orono was 3rdwitha  time of 20:13.75 while Ellsworth's Maddie Kane finished 4th with a time of 20:14.71. Ruby Keane from Orono was 5th with a time of 20:24.65

William Morris from Dirigo won the Varsity Boy's Race with a time of 15:27.24 with Bucksport's Connor Kedzierski finishing 2nd with a time of 16:50.94. Brady Cox from Orono was 3rd finishing at 16:50.94 while Noah Ferioli from Foxcroft Academy was 4th at 17:00.33 Nathaniel Hileman from Bucksport finished 5th at 17:25.45
