MDI 6 Hermon 2

After a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to Ellsworth on Thursday it was up to the MDI Boy's Soccer Team to show some guts and comeback on Saturday against Hermon. The Trojans did that and more, defeating the Hermon Hawks at Hermon 6-2 to even their record at 3-3.

Joe Grubb had a hat trick to lead the Trojans with 3 goals. Avery LaVelle had a pair of goals and Peter Jacobsen ffound the back of the net once. Kendrew Van Gorder was in goal for the Trojans

Hermon scored once per half. Their first goal resulted from a backside header in from a cross, and their second goal was as a result of a penalty kick.

MDI, now 3-3 plays at Old Town, Tuesday, September 22 at 6:30 PM. Hermon 2-3 plays at John Bapst on Thursday September 24th at 4 PM.
