The Ellsworth Eagles Boy's Baseball Team lost to the Hermon Hawks 2-0 in Hermon on Tuesday, April 26th on a day that was cold in the 30's and saw steady flurries in the afternoon. Ellsworth was able to only muster 3 hits off of Nick Guerrette.

Senior Nick Bagley was on the mound for Ellsworth, and took the tough luck loss. Bagley allowed 2 runs, only 1 of them earned. He struck out 2, allowed 6 hits and walked 3 as he went the distance for the Eagles.

Ellsworth committed 5 errors on the afternoon, while Hermon committed 1.

Austin Baron, Jack Lee and Sam Horne had Ellsworth's 3 hits.

Nick Guerrette pitched the complete game getting the win for the Hawks. He struck out 10 and didn't walk anyone.

Christian Greener was 2-3 with a RBI for Hermon. Matt Leach, Justin Davis, Alex Applebee and Mark Mailoux all had singles for the Hawks.

Ellsworth is now 0-2 and will play host to Old Town on Thursday, April 28th at 4:30 PM.

Hermon is 3-0 and will play host to MDI on Thursday, April 28th at 4:30 PM.
