The MDI Trojans lost to the Hermon Hawks 9-5 in a Class B Baseball game on Thursday, April 28th. Hermon was down 5-1 in the bottom of the 6th inning but erupted for 8 runs to win the game.

It was a tough afternoon for the MDI Softball Team as they were shutout by the Hermon Hawks in Hermon on Thursday, April 28th 15-0.

The Ellsworth Eagles Boy's Baseball Team lost to the Hermon Hawks 2-0 in Hermon on Tuesday, April 26th on a day that was cold in the 30's and saw steady flurries in the afternoon. Ellsworth was able to only muster 3 hits off of Nick Guerrette.

The MDI Boy's Basketball Team punched their ticket to Bangor and Tourney 2016 with a 60-38 victory over Hermon in a Class B North Prelim Game at Bernard Parady Gymnasium. The Trojans, the #5 seed will play Orono the #4 seed on Saturday, February 12th at 1:30 PM in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.

The Ellsworth Boy's Basketball Team finished their pre-Christmas schedule with a 55-37 victory over Hermon on Wednesday, December 23rd at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth to improve to 4-1 on the season.

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team are off to the best start in recent memory, as they are now 5-0 after defeating Hermon 51-43 at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth on Tuesday, December 22nd.

It's Christmas Week, but Katsiaficas Gymnasium at Ellsworth High School will be full of Eagles and Hawks on Tuesday and Wednesday December 22nd and 23rd as the Hermon Hawks travel to play the Ellsworth Eagles.
