Ellsworth Loses in Double OT 1-0 [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Eagles lost their 1st game of the season, losing in double overtime 1-0 to the Hermon Hawks in Hermon on Wednesday, October 14th on Senior Night for the Hawks.

Bruce St. Peter had 5 saves for Ellsworth, Garrett Kipler had 7 for Hermon. The only goal was in the second overtime by Matt Allen at 4:04.

Ellsworth is now 10-1-1 and still in 1st place in the latest Heal Point Standings. The Eagles have 2 remaining games, both at Del Luce Stadium. They play host to Presque Isle on Saturday, October 17th at 3 PM and then to MDI on Tuesday, October 20th at 6 PM.

Hermon is now 3-7-2. They have 2 games reamaining, at MDI on Saturday October 17th at 11 AM and then at Foxcroft Academy on Tuesday October 20th at 4 PM.
