It's as rare as scoring 1000 points in your high school basketball career, but two Ellsworth Eagles, Josh Wright and Peyton Cole each won their 100th Match this Saturday in Bucksport.

Senior Tri-Captain, Josh Wright captured his 100th career win with a 16 – 0 tech fall over Dan Bolton of Lisbon in his semi-finals match. Wright nursing an ankle injury defaulted in the finals.

Peyton Cole became only the 3rd wrestle in Ellsworth High School history to garner 100 wins as a junior by pinning Keigan Riccard at 1:44 in the championship finals. Cole upped his season record to 29 and 0.

In other matches, Trent Goodman moved up to the 195 pound weight class and had no trouble dispatching his three opponents. He won by default in the championship finals prior to pinning his first 2 opponents in 51 seconds and 1 minute and 14 seconds. His season record stands at 30 and 0. Sophomore Logan Lord pinned each of his opponents and won the championship at 138 pounds by pinning Cory Jandreau of Caribou at 2:37
