Blood Drive in Southwest Harbor January 9th

During the winter, blood drives are especially important as blood donations decline over the holidays and donors who normally donate may be down where it is warm, or can't donate as regularly because of the weather. The  American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Tuesday, January 9th in Southwest Harbor.

The Blood Drive will take place from Noon to 5 PM at the American Legion Hall, 21 Hassan Avenue in Southwest Harbor.

It takes about a hour to donate blood. All blood types are needed, and you can either walk in to the Blood Drive in Southwest Harbor on the 9th of January or make an appointment by calling the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767)
