Sox Lose, Papi #34 To Be Retired [VIDEO]

Pedro, Manny and other World Championship team members returned to celebrate David Ortiz on his final regular season game at Fenway Park.

During the celebration the team announced that next year the Ortiz #34 number will be retired.

By the way, the Sox lost to Toronto 2-1 and lost homefield advantage to Cleveland in the playoffs. The best-of-5 series starts Thursday.

Among the honors bestowed on Big Papi...a bridge over the Mass Pike and street in Boston named for Ortiz.

Maine's Brian Butterfield presented Papi with a pair of L.L. Bean boots.
