Bar Harbor YWCA and Bar Harbor Congregational Church’s Spread the Warmth MLK Day Service Project [VIDEO]

This project is incredibly timely given how cold it was on Tuesday, and will be this weekend!  The Bar Harbor YWCA and Bar Harbor Congregational Church are teaming up on Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 17th to collect sweatshirts and sweatpants for those in need in Hancock and Washington Counties.

The need is for larger sizes, but any sizes, including kids will be accepted. Clothing and monetary donations may be dropped off on Monday, January 17th from 10:30 to 1 p.m. You can just drive through and drop off items. All items will be distributed by the Emmaus Homeless Shelter and Maine Sea Coast Mission.
