Card Brook Clean-Up Postponed from April 20th to April 27th

The annual Card Brook Clean-Up, has been postponed from Saturday, April 20th to April 27th because of the possibility of rain on the 20th.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on April 27th.

You should wear sturdy footwear that you can get wet/muddy. If you have waders, those are ideal! Organizers will be providing trash bags, gloves, safety vests, hand sanitizer, snacks and water.

Please meet at the parking lot on the West side of the Hannaford Supermarket (right side if facing the store) in Ellsworth, across from the Hawthorn Extended Stay (former Ramada) to sign-in, enter the raffle and get further directions.

The Ellsworth Moose Lodge at 47 Foster Street will be holding a cookout for all the volunteers at 12:15 on April 27th. A raffle will be held during the cookout for a chance to win gift cards to local businesses.
