2 Long Time Ellsworth American Employees Say Good-Bye

On Thursday, May 30th a retirement party was held at the Ellsworth American to say good-bye and thank you to long time employees Terry Carlisle and Stephen Faye.

Carlisle, the General Manager, started her career at The American back in 1978. She was promoted to General Manager in 2000 and not only over saw The American, but The Islander as well.

Stephen Faye has been the Managing Editor of The American since 1996. He worked in the newspaper business as a reporter and editor in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont before living in Ellsworth.
