MDI Sweeps Caribou in Soccer

It was a good day for MDI Soccer fans, as the MDI Boy's and Girl's Soccer Teams notched victories over Caribou, to start the 2015 Soccer season.

MDI Boys
The Boys beat Caribou 5-0 on Saturday, September 5th. Ryan Bender scored two goals for MDI , on indirect free kicks, one in each half. Joe Grubb scored twice, with assists from Jake Ressel and Eli McDonnell. Grubb also had an assist as his pass set up Peter Jacobson's lone goal.. Kendrew Van Gorder recorded the shutout for MDI.

MDI now 1-0 will host Old Town on Tuesday, September 8th at 5 PM and John Bapst on Thursday, September 10th at 6 PM. Caribou is 1-2 and will play at Foxcroft Academy on Monday September 7th at 3 PM and host Old Town on Saturday September 12th at 3 PM

MDI Girls
The MDI Girls beat Caribou on Saturday September 5th. Ally Bender scored off a throw in from Paige Mason and Opal Curless scored as well. Keely McConomy was in goal and recorded the shutout for the Trojans

MDI now 1-0 will play at John Bapst on Tuesday, September 8th at 4 PM and then host Old Town on Wednesday, September 9th at 6 PM. Caribou 2-1 will play at Foxcroft Academy on Monday, September 7th at 1 PM and host Old Town on Saturday September 12th at 1 PM.
