EHS Girls 64 Caribou 41 [BOX SCORE]

After suffering their 1st loss of the season on Wednesday, December 30th to Presque Isle, the Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team started a new winning streak, defeating Caribou 64-41 on Thursday, December 31st and finish 2015 with a 6-1 record, good enough for 4th place in the Heal Point Standings.

Ellsworth was led by Maddie Card with 12 points. Caitlin Bean had a double-double with 10 points while ripping down 11 rebounds. Callie Hammer had 11 points. Hammer and Breann Cummings each had 2 3-pointers, while Card and Hannah Sargent had 1 3-pointer each. Ellsworth was 16-32 from the free throw line.

Caribou was led by Madison Doucette with 23 points. She had 4 3-pointers, while Gabrielle Marquis and Searra Herbert each had a 3-pointer. The Vikings were 13-20 from the free throw line.

in the next week, the Eagles play 3 games, home against George Stevens, Saturday January 2nd at 7 PM, Tuesday, January 5 at MDI at 7 PM, and Saturday, January 9 at Houlton at 2:30 PM. All games will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio

Caribou is 1-5 and plays host to Orono on Saturday, January 2nd.
