The MDI High School Golf Team traveled to Bucksport Golf Course for a 3-way match with Bucksport High School and John Bapst. Bucksport Golf Course was playing a par 37. MDI High School Senior Colby Lee had a game to remember Friday night, September 15th when the Trojans defeated Bucksport 43-22. Lee ran  for 288 yards on 21 carries, scoring 4 touchdowns. He would have had a 5th touchdown, but it was called back on offsetting personal foul calls on MDI and Bucksport. Lee also had an interception.

The MDI Golf Team played Saturday at the John Bapst 18 Hole Invitational on Saturday, September 16th. The Tourney was held at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono, with par being 72.
