Chris is WDEA's "Sports Guy"! He has been broadcasting MDI and Ellsworth Basketball games for the past 10 years and this is the 9th year of broadcasting MDI Football. He is the 2013 Electronic Media Award winner from the Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrator's Association in recognition for outstanding electronic media contributions to Maine Interscholastic Athletics. He is the 2015 Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce President’s Award Winner for Sustained and Exceptional Service to the Community In addition to broadcasting the sporting events for Townsquare Media, Chris sells advertising on the Townsquare Media stations. The road to Orono and the Class C State Gold Ball Game goes through Bar Harbor after the MDI Trojans beat Nokomis 44-22 on Senior Recognition Night on Friday, October 20th. The win means the Trojans finish the regular season as the number 1 seed and a 7-1 record.

The number 1 seed MDI Trojans play host to the number 4 seed Nokomis Warriors in the final regular season game on Friday, October 20th. It will be Senior Recognition Night for the MDI Trojans. It will be a battle of the highest scoring offense in Class C North (MDI with 275 points) and the stingiest defense in Class C North (Nokomis has only allowed 82 points)
