There's a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Downeast Maine and the Bangor area beginning at Midnight, Monday, December 17th and lasting until 1AM on Tuesday, December 18th.

According to the National Weather Service in Caribou snow may mix with sleet early Monday. Along the immediate coast snow may mix with or change to all rain Monday morning before turning back to all snow on Monday afternoon. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected withe the highest amounts inland from the coast.

Want to know if you should finish your homework? (You should) Want to know if you should study for that test or exam Monday? (You should). Want to know if you should stay up and not worry about school Monday? There's a snow day calculator for you to help give you the odds of having a snow day in the near future!

It's pretty simple. You enter your zip code, how many snow days you have already had, and then what kind of school you go to. Then the calculator figures out the probability that you won't have to go to school Monday, December 17th! Pretty simple, but to insure you don't have school, I would still suggest going to bed with your pajamas on backwards!
