Bar Harbor Food Pantry Needs Pasta Donations This August

You've heard it before, but I honestly believe that there's no more generous people than Mainers. Mainers consistently step up to help their fellow Mainers. I am constantly amazed at the generosity and outpouring of support for people and causes in the 40 years that I have lived in Maine. You prove over and over what I have said "Mainers take care of Mainers and those that they love".

The Bar Harbor Food Pantry is specifically looking for boxes of pasta in August, and if you are able, maybe a jar or can of sauce. Remember a box of pasta can feed a family of 4 and is shelf-stable! They can be boxes of spaghetti, rotini, elbows, penne, or whatever you like.

Donations may be dropped off at the Bar Harbor Food Pantry during open hours, now located at 34 Kennebec Street, and in the donation bin at the MDI YWCA. at 36 Mount Desert Street in Bar Harbor.
