Tardy Shines For Bucknell in 1st X-Country Meet

Former MDI Trojan Tia Tardy had an astounding 1st collegiate meet, as she finished 2nd overall, out of 67 runners, in her first cross country meet for the Bucknell Bisons on Friday September 1st.

Tardy finished with a time of 14:30, 8 seconds behind her teammate Christine Bendzinski, a senior and reigning Patriot League champion. Bendzinksi ran the 4K course in a time of 14:22.

Bucknell won the meet, placing runners in the top 7. The Lady Bison will be competing again this Friday, September 8th, when they travel to Penn State to run in the Spike Shoe Invitational
