Red Sox Beat Pirates 4-3 [VIDEO]
The Boston Red Sox improved to 5-4 on the season and 4-1 at Fenway Park, earning their 2nd come from behind victory of the year, defeating the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, April 13th in a make-up game.
Hanley Ramirez tied the game with a bases loaded double in the bottom of the 8th inning. Xander Boagaerts who was 2-4 drove in the game winning run with a 2 out single in the bottom of the 8th.
Mitch Moreland doubled in his 7th consecutive game, setting a new Red Sox record. The hit was also his 500th career hit.
Eduardo Rodriguez pitched 5.1 innings, allowing 4 hits, 3 runs, 2 of which were earned. He struck out 8 and walked 4.
Matt Barnes pitched the 8th inning and earned the win, he's 2-0 on the season.
Craig Kimbrel pitched a scoreless 9th inning to earn the save, his 3rd of the year.
