MDI’s Jacobsen Advances to Tennis Semifinals

Congratulations to MDI High School's Regitze Jacobsen who has advanced to Semifinals of the Maine Principal's Girls Singles Tennis Championships!

On Friday, May 24th Jacobsen, seeded 5th, defeated Lea Scrapchansky of Brunswick 7-6(6), 6-1 in the Round of 32 at Apex Racket and Fitness, in Portland

Saturday morning, Jacobsen  won in 3 sets in the Round of 16, defeating Fiona Liang from Lincoln Academy and then Saturday afternoon, in the Round of 8 defeated Madelyn Dwyer from Maranacook 6-1, 6-4. Saturday's matches took place at Lewiston High School

Jacobsen will play Monday morning, May 27th at 9AM at Bates College
