Financial Aid Workshop – December 4th

Paying for college isn't easy! Trust me I know, with my son in his fifth year out at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota. That's why it's important that you go to the Financial Aid Workshop being held Tuesday, December 4th at 6:30 PM in the Ellsworth High School cafeteria.

Parents and Students in all grades are welcome! I would certainly recommend going if you're a parent of a senior or even a junior! It's not too early to start planning. There will be copies of the Ellsworth High School scholarship booklet provided and sign up sheets will be available for FAFSA help sessions being held at Ellsworth High School in January and February. You have to have the FAFSA form filled out to be eligible for ANY scholarship!

Free pizza will be served from 6 to 6:30 courtesy of a MELMAC grant. The guest speaker will be Tiffany Doescher, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, University of Maine.
