Road Work on High Street and High Street in Ellsworth on Tuesday May 19th

Traveling around Ellsworth on Tuesday, May 19th will be a little difficult if you are traveling on a section of Water Street and High Street.

RF Jordan and Sons will be conducting sewer work near 260 Water Street, resulting in a single lane closure int he area. The work is expected to last most of the day.

Northeast Paving will be painting the crosswalk between McDonald's and Town Fair Tire on High Street beginning at 9 a.m. This work is expected to take about 2 hours, and traffic in that area will be reduced to 1 lane while the painting takes place.

If you can avoid the area on Water Street and the area near McDonald's and Town Fair Tire on High Street while the work takes place, that would be ideal. For those that have to travel through the area, please expect delays. Please be careful driving near the crews and allow them as much room as possible.
