Friends in Action Community Lunches – June 2026

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for June 2026!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together, where it's cool and in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016.

• Tuesday June 2 - Chicken Fried Steak with Country Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Bread, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
• Thursday June 4 - Red Hot Dog, Sauerkraut, Sweet Potato Tots, Salad, Peaches and Dessert
• Tuesday June 9 - Poutine (French Fries, Beef Gravy, Cheese Curds), Carrots, Roll, Cinnamon Pears and Dessert
• Thursday June 11 - Baked Fish Corn Bread, Green Beans, Salad, Grapes and Dessert
• Tuesday, June 16 - Cheeseburger with Lettuce, Tomato and Onions, Tater Tots, Corn, Cinnamon Applesauce and Dessert
• Thursday, June 18 - Roast Beef, Potato Hash, Peas, Roll, Cantaloupe and Dessert
• Tuesday, June 23 - Sausage Links, Pancakes with Syrup, Egg, Hashbrowns, Pineapple and Desert
• Thursday, June 25 - Ham and Beans, Coleslaw, Biscuit, Watermelon and Dessert
• Tuesday, June 30 - Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Cauliflower, Honey Dew Melon and Dessert.
