Ellsworth Football – Important Start Dates

If you have a child in 3rd through 8th grade and they are interested in playing for Ellsworth Football, then get ready, because the season is almost ready to start! Grades 3 and 4 will be playing flag football and Grades 5-8 will be playing 8-man tackle.Here are important dates

• First if your child is interested in playing, they should call the Downeast Family YMCA at 667-3086 to register.
• Equipment pick up for 7-8 grade is Friday August 13 starting at 5 p.m. at Demeyer Field
• Equipment pick up for 5-6 grade is Monday, August 23 starting at 5 p.m. at Demeyer Field
• Practices for grades 7-8 begin Monday, August 16
• Practices for grades 5-6 and grades 3-4  begin Tuesday August 24
• Practices will be held 3 days a week with games weekly
• Cost for Flag Football is $100 and Tackle Football is $175
