The City of Ellsworth will be hosting a silent auction for the month of November with all proceeds going to replenish the City of Ellsworth's Christmas for Kids' fund.
Each year the City assists roughly 80-100 children who may not otherwise receive a gift and experience the Joy of the Holidays.  The City budgets for $60 per child. In recent years, many children have received most of their wish lists thanks to generous donations, and proceeds from events such as this.
The City is looking for local businesses who would like to donate a gift card, certificate, or an item(s) of choice from their business. The item donated would be on display for the entire month of November.
The Silent Auction will be held at Ellsworth City Hall; bidding will start November 1st and run through November 30th. Please come join the fun, check out what other businesses and individuals within the community have donated, and while you are at City Hall place a bid on an early Christmas present or maybe even a special treat for yourself.
Donated items should be submitted to the City Clerk’s department at Ellsworth City Hall by October 31st 2024. When submitting an item, please include  the retail dollar value of your donated item as this helps with the display and bidding process.
