EHS Names Class of 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

At the Ellsworth School Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 12th, Ellsworth High School Principal Dan Clifford announced the Class of 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

According to Principal Clifford "The Class of 2020 Valedictorian is Eden Salzig, the daughter of John Salzig and Barbara LaCasce of Ellsworth. Eden is graduating with an earned Grade Point Average of 101.63. She was the recipient of the Maine Principals’ Association Principals’ Award for 2020. Eden is a very talented musician, very personable, self motivated, and gets along with all people. Her activities while at EHS include Symphonic Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Jazz Combos, Math Team, Green Team, book Club, Friends of Rachel Club, Gender-Sexuality Diversity Alliance-Treasurer, Tri-M-President, National Science Honor Society-Co-President, and National Honors Society. Eden will attend Bowdoin College in the fall to major in Physics."

According to Principal Clifford "The Class of 2020 Salutatorian is Allison Robbins, the daughter of Heather and Robert Robbins of Ellsworth. Allison is graduating with an earned Grade Point Average of 101.08. Allison is a kind person, extremely hard worker, self motivated, and is goal oriented. EHS activities she was involved in include Math Team-Captain, Chess Club, Book Club, Debate Club, National Science Honor Society, Varsity Soccer, JV Softball-Captain, tutoring, volunteering at the Bangor Public Library, and working at Dunkin Donuts. Allison will attend the University of Maine in the fall to major in Business and Accounting.   "
