#1 Ellsworth Beats #9 John Bapst 10-0 in Class B North Quarterfinals [PHOTOS]

The #1 Ellsworth Eagles run-ruled the #9 John Bapst Crusaders, winning 10-0 at Ellsworth High School in the Class B North Quarterfinals on Thursday, June 10.

Jackson Barry tossed a 1-hitter for the Eagles, over 5 innings. He struck out 9 and walked 2.

Aiden Oellette started on the mound for the Crusaders. He pitched 4.0 innings allowin 10 hits and 9 runs, all earned. He struck out 3 and walked 2. Logan Martin recorded 2 outs in the 5th innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run.

Max Jameson had the lone hit for John Bapst.

Evan Haskell was 2-3 leading-off. He had a double and run batted in. Dawson Curtis was 3-4 with a double and drove in 4 runs. Jackson Barry was 1-3 and drove in 2 runs. Gunnar Viner was 1-3 with a run batted in. Joey Bela was 1-3. Caleb Jordan was 2-2 with a run batted in. Brayden Sekulich was 2-3 with a run batted in.

Ellsworth swiped 5 bases. Curtis stole 3 bases, with Haskell and Porter Merrill each swiping a base.

Ellsworth will host #4 Hermon in the Class B Semifinals on Saturday, June 13th at 1 p.m.
