Work Begins Today On Winkumpaugh Road In Ellsworth

Beginning today, the old road off Route 1A in Ellsworth will be getting a face lift.

The City tells us that work crews will be out there today and tomorrow grinding up the old pavement between Route 1A and the Telephone Museum, which is just past the Hanson's Landing Road.

That section of the road will be repaved at some point following the work going on today and tomorrow.  The Winkumpaugh Road will be open to traffic during the reconstruction process.
