Winter Weather Advisory: Snow, Sleet, Rain Predicted For Bangor

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of eastern Maine, with snow, rain and sleet expected in the Bangor area.

Bangor should see 2-to-3 inches of snow. Precipitation there is expected to start around 5 p.m. Monday and continue through Tuesday afternoon. Downeast areas will see less accumulation.

Northern Maine and Aroostook County will see the higher accumulations, with up to a foot of snow in northernmost areas.
