It's time to shut the windows and bring in any ornamental plants tonight, because it's going to be downright chilly tonight!  So chilly in fact, that the National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Freeze Warning which will be in effect for Interior and Coastal Hancock and Washington Counties as well as Southern Aroostook and Southern Penobscot Counties!

Temperatures are expected to be as low as 27 degrees between Midnight tonight, October 10th and 8 am on Friday morning.

The frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, and  other sensitive vegetation.

Remember Friday morning to allow some extra time to defrost your car windows so you can see clearly before heading out on your morning commute. If you aren't sure where your ice scraper is, here's a friendly reminder to find it before going to bed tonight!

Don't worry though, temperatures will warm up on Friday with highs around 60.
