Will there be a possible snow day or school delay on Thursday April 3rd for Downeast Maine and Bangor Region Schools?

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Downeast Maine and Southern Penobscot including the Greater Bangor Area from 1 a.m. on Thursday morning until Noon on Thursday, April 3rd.

Snow is scheduled to begin in the Bangor area by midnight and sleet and freezing rain will begin in the Bangor area between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. The good news is that this will turn to rain and above freezing temperatures in the Bangor area and Downeast between 10 a.m. and noon.
