Whip Around Downeast Maine Friday August 13 [PHOTOS]

A Facebook friend gave me the best description of August's weather, as she said it was "Fogust"! She was right, but today, Friday August 13th finally dawned clear and beautiful! Check out the photos from the Downeast Tower Cams this morning, all taken around 6:30 a.m.

Here's the view from Southwest Harbor and Dysart's Marina. The last couple of days it had been so foggy you couldn't even see the end of the dock! Via Bar Harbor CamThe yacht there is The Kisses

And look at Bass Harbor.. Gorgeous! This photos was 2 hours before low tide which is at 8:48 a.m.

And wow, you can see the boats again in Northeast Harbor!

The Ellsworth City Hall Cupola Tower Cam  gave a nice view this morning

The Harbor Park Tower Cam showed a beautiful and peaceful scene

Branch Lake in Ellsworth was lovely. Wasn't the sky pretty?

And we can finally see from the North Ellsworth Tower Cam which has been completely fogged in!
