A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Downeast Maine and Tropical Storm force wind gusts ( 35 - 45 miles per hour with gusts up to 75 miles per hour) are expected through Saturday night

Power outages are being reported throughout the area. Just after 1 p.m. . Versant Power was reporting over 34,000 outages double that as of 9 a.m.
