Trojan Zach Johnson Medals at Special Olympics

This winter, I have posted stories about the MDI Unified Basketball Team. I have posted times of MDI and Ellsworth swimmers, not just the winning times, ALL the times. Often it's not whether you win or lost, it's if you competed, did your best and played with dignity, representing yourself, your family, your school to the best of your ability.

That's why I'm so pleased to write about MDI Trojan Zach Johnson. Johnson competed at the Maine Special Olympics and medaled, winning Gold in the 200M & 400M snowshoe races at the Special Olympics
