Thunderstorms Cause Power Outage Downeast Wednesday Night, August 7th

Thunderstorms caused power outages to just under 3000 Emera Maine customers in Downeast Maine on Wednesday, August 7th just after 9 PM.

There were 2825 customers without power on Mount Desert Island as of 9:37 PM. It seems that many were ready to watch the premiere episode of Beverly Hills 90210 as Facebook was flooded with comments as reports of the power outage were posted online.
