There will be a Spaghetti Dinner this Saturday, October 19th at the Ellsworth Elks Lodge from 4 to 7 p.m.

Cost of the dinner is $10.00 per person, and includes spaghetti, bread, drink and dessert.

All the proceeds will benefit the family of Cody Weed, son of Tracy Weed.

Donations will also be accepted, there will be a 50-50 raffle and other raffles as well.

According to his obituary published in the Ellsworth American

Cody James Weed, 28, died unexpectedly Sept. 1, 2024, at Kingsman Quarry in Franklin. He was born Feb. 6, 1996, in Blue Hill, the son of Clinton J. Weed and Tracy A. (Foster) Weed.

Cody graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2018. Since graduating, Cody has worked as a professional carpenter and builder. Cody truly was an outdoor guy. Best known for his hunting takedowns and fishing abilities, he would never miss an opportunity to be in the woods, out on the water or riding his motorcycle.
