If you are a business with a sign , or a family who lives along the route between Tremont and Bangor, a simple sign placed Tuesday, June 1st will give the family of Silas a little encouragement as they head to Boston for treatment.

In a Facebook post in a closed group, Leslie Gray wrote

"Asking for some help from our community members and businesses. Some of you may know my nephew Silas Harper was recently diagnosed with Evan's Disease. There has been a post "SILAS ROCKS" circulating on Facebook.

Tuesday, June 1st he is driving down to Massachusetts with his family for his upcoming appointment at the Boston Children's Hospital. His route will be from Tremont, his home town through the Indian Point Road, through Town Hill headed off MDI , through Trenton and Ellsworth. They will be departing at 3 p.m.

If you live or work anywhere along this route could you please make signs for him to see along the way? Every small act of kindness and encouragement will mean the world to all of them."

If you are interested in contributing to the Silas Rocks Campaign to help support the Harper family with medical, travel, and other expenses related to his treatment it would be greatly appreciated.
