Red Sox -Braves Game Notes March 1 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox will play the Atlanta Braves on Sunday, March 1st in Spring Training action, with the game starting at 1:05 p.m. and pregame starting at 1 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.

Yesterday, the Red Sox lost to the New York Yankees, 5-2 to make their record 3-5-1 this Spring. Eduardo Rodriguez started and struck out 6 in 3 scoreless innings. He didn't walk a batter, and allowed just 2 hits.

The Red Sox had 5 hits, with Jose Peraza going 2-2 with a double, Tzu-Wei Lin was 2-3 and Bobby Dalton was 1-2 with a RBI.

The Red Sox are scheduled to send Nathan Eovaldi to the mound for his 2nd start of the Spring. He started on Monday, February 24th against Minnesota and threw 2 scoreless innings allowing 2 hits and striking out 4

Also scheduled to pitch today is Brandon Workman, who will make his 1st appearance of the Spring. Wokman set career bests last year with 10 wins, 16 saves, 73 appearances and 104 strikeouts.

Also scheduled to ptich are RHP Tanner Houck, RHP Marcus Walden and RHP Colten Brewer.
