Red Flag Warning Downeast April 25th

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued another Red Flag Warning for very high fire danger for April 25th from 11AM to 6 PM for Hancock County, Southern Penobscot County and Southern Washington County.

The weather forecast for the rest of the week calls for sunny skies during the day and no precipitation. Conditions will likely continue to remain as is, and a very high fire danger will remain during the day.

Extra care should be taken when discarding cigarette butts as wildfires are very likely given the dry conditions!
