MDI Softball Defeats Old Town 8-5

The MDI Trojans Softball Team handed Old Town their first defeat of the season, yesterday, May 29th in Old Town, defeating the Coyotes 8-5.

Haley Littlefield pitched a complete game for the Trojans picking up the win. She allowed 5 hits, 5 runs, 3 of which were earned, walking 2 and striking out 3.

Old Town's K. Hayward took the loss for the Coyotes, pitching a complete game and allowing 5 hits, 8 runs, 7 of which were earned ans struck out 6 while walking 4.

Hannah Shaw hit her 2nd home run of the year for MDI!

MDI now sits, in 10th place, with a 7-8 record. The Lady Trojans have one game remaining, home against Foxcroft Academy. Old Town finishes the regular season in 2nd place, with a 15-1 record.
