The MDI-Morse Northern Maine Large School Semifinal Football Game has been moved to Tuesday, October 31st at 5:30 p.m.

Athletic Director Bunky Dow informs us that unfortunately there will not be a fan bus for MDI students to attend the game.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on Friday, October 27th, but because of the tragedy in Lewiston and the manhunt, the game was postponed.

WDEA's Chris Popper will broadcast the game on WDEA AM 1370. The game will also be broadcast online on WDEA Internet Radio, on WDEA's free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device, with the pregame starting at 5:20 p.m.

MDI beat Morse in the final game of the regular season on October 13th,  24-19. MDI finished the regular season with a 6-1 record while Morse was 5-2, but because of the Crabtree Standings and opponents strength of schedule Morse finished with the #2 seed and MDI the #3 seed.

In the other Northern Maine 8-man Large School semifinal #1 Camden Hills will host #5 Waterville who upset #4 Mountain Valley 34-22 in a quarterfinal game.

In the Southern Maine 8-man Large School semifinals #1 Yarmouth hosts #4 Brunswick while #2 Greely hosts #3 Mt. Ararat.

The State Finals will be played at Cameron Stadium in Bangor on Saturday, November 11th at 2:30 p.m.
