A day after announcing the return to 4 day a week learning at MDI High School, the school announced that there were 2 COVID positive cases, and as a result they went all remote for Thursday, March 11th. They have now made the decision that rather than return to 4 day a week in person learning on Monday, March 15th as planned, they will delay it a week and plan to return on Monday March 22nd.

Principal Matt Haney sent out the following email

Good morning MDIHS students, families, and educators,

In response to the positive COVID-19 tests this week and the resulting quarantine of a number of staff members we are going to delay the move to four days per week of in person learning for one week.  During the upcoming week we will evaluate local conditions and make any adjustments as necessary.
This adjustment means that we will continue with the Green/White hybrid cohort protocol for the week of 3/15.  Those students who have schedules other than the strict Green/White plan will continue that as well.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to adjust and adapt as circumstances change.
