The MDI Boy's Soccer Team played host to John Bapst on Monday evening, September 26th on a cool, crisp night in Bar Harbor. John Bapst nipped MDI 2-1.

The Trojans and Crusaders played to a scoreless draw after 40 minutes.

In the 2nd Half John Bapst took a 1-0 lead, when Tanner Ackley scored off a corner kick with 19:34 left in regulation.

MDI knotted the score just over 8 minutes later, when Joe Grubb found the back of the net, on a through ball from Adam Bygdeson.

John Bapst scored the game winner with 6:22 left in the game when Paul Branch scored a goal.

MDI is now 2-5-2 and will play at Washington Academy on Monday, October 3rd at 4 PM.

John Bapst is now 7-1. They play host to Old Town on Wednesday, September 28th at 4 PM at the University of Maine.
