Husson Baseball Players from MDI and Ellsworth

Two alumni from MDI High School and Ellsworth High School are poised to bring experience and skill to the Husson Eagles Baseball Team that begins it's 2013 season March 11th against Roger Williams University in Florida.

Jordan Carter is expected to do the lion share of the catching for the Eagles this year. A sophomore, Carter appeared in 7 games his freshman year, going 1-7 at the plate with a home run and 4 runs batted in.

Dennis O'Neil is expected to be part of a 1-2 punch for the Eagles along with Pat McEwen from Brewer  in anchoring the Husson pitching staff. O'Neil appeared in 5 games last year going 1-0, pitching in relief. He pitched 7.1 innings, allowing 12 hits and striking out 6 and walking 3.
