HCTC Boggy Brook 5K Run/Walk May 15 to Benefit SkillsUSA Students
Hancock County Technical Center is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk on Sunday May 15th with all the proceeds being used to send SkillsUSA students to the National's in Atlanta, Georgia June 20-24.
HCTC has a sizeable contingent that won their competition and the right to represent the State of Maine. Winners included

- Madeline Henry - Bronze for Digital Cinema Knowledge
- Elizabeth Boles - Gold for Job Interview - Middle School student competing under HCTC umbrella
- Alexis Higgins - Gold for Job Interview
- Ethan Joy - Gold for Job Skill Demonstration - Middle School student competing under HCTC umbrella

- Taylor Staples - Silver for Health Occupation Professional Portfolio
To help fund their trip, Hancock County Technical Center hopes you will run/walk in the Boggy Brook 5K or 1 Mile Fun Walk. Registration is $20.00 for Adults and $10 for those under 18. You can register online HERE now through Saturday, May 14th at 12 noon and the day of the race/walk from 8 a..m. to 8;45 a.m. The Race begins at 9 a.m. and the Walk begins at 9;30 a.m.
