What To Expect At Bucksport's Ghostport Festival Saturday October 18th

The Town of Bucksport becomes Ghostport this Saturday, October 18th with a day full of fun activities. Here's the schedule of events.

9:30-10 a.m. -Carved Pumpkin Contest Drop off at the Gazebo on the waterfront walkway. All ages are invited to enter.
9:40 a.m. - Lil' Goblins Parade - Meet at the Town office where the Parade Starts at 10 a.m. March down Main Street with the Bucksport High School Band.
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Spirited Vendors and Activities provided by various non-profits along the waterfront walkway.
10:15 - 11:30 a.m. - Hannaford Witches' Brunch locate in the big tent in front of the Historical Society. Donations benefit the Bucksport Animal Shelter.
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Carved Pumpkin Contest public voting at the Gazebo with Awards to follow.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m - Crafts Stories and more at the Buck Memorial Library. Treats will be handed out to those spirits who might wander in.
11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m. The Village Pumpkin launches pumpkins into the Penobscot! Located at Flag Point on the waterfront. Your $2.00 donation per pumpkin benefits Circle Camps.
12 Noon - 2 p.m. Waterfront Wandering Wizard - Find Phil Smith of Abracadabra Productions and be mystified by his magic!
12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. our until gone - Cauldron Bubble Chili Cook Off - located in the big tent in front of the Bucksport Historical Society $5.00 to try all the entries and cast your vote. Proceeds benefit the Bucksport Historical Society.
1 - 2 p.m. - Spooky Story Hour at BookStacks on Main Street
2:30 to 4 p.m. - Hancock Pour House Trunk R Treating in the Marna parking lot on the waterfront.
4 to 7 p.m. - Reach Haunted House! The students at Reach School have worked hard to be ready to give a fright. At 14 First Street if you dare.
6 p.m. - The LONG Walk plays at the Alamo Theatre! Normal admission fee. 108 minutes, rated R
6:30 to 8 p.m. - A "Bump in the Night" Dance and Chem Free event. Located in the big tent in front of the Historical Society
6:30 to 8 p.m. - Trunk or Treat After Dark, in the Town Dock Parklng Lot on the waterfront.
7 to 8:30 p.m. - Trick or Trivia at Stowaways Town Tavern, 63 Main Street.
9 p.m. - ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW rated R at The Alamo Theatre! 18 and over. $10 admission includes prop bag.
